Having found myself in a financial mess I was unsure where to turn, it was a balancing act and at any point the balls were going to crash down. I discovered Refresh and they took care of everything right from the first phone call I made to them, giving me all the information and advice I needed in plain English. The advisors are there with you at every step guiding you though and answering the questions that you may have. Using Refresh has made everything so much easier and stress free with just one payment made to them they take care of everything else making sure all your creditors get paid. About three years ago I was deeply depressed, highly stressed and very unhappy. The reason for that was a bank loan and some credit card debts that I was unable to make payment to.

To begin with the monthly payments had been well within my ability, but circumstances changed and it became impossible to pay all of them everything they wanted, although I continued to pay what I could when I could, going without some basic things trying to keep them happy.

Despite that the interest added just snowballed, and the whole situation went from manageable, through very worrying to absolutely frightening!

I began to receive texts, emails and phone calls from lenders involved, as well as almost daily letters. The calls came at all hours of the day and often late into the night and were mostly accusing, threatening and often bordering on insulting. The letters were the same. It was so upsetting that I could understand how some people could be driven to suicidal thoughts. They were like a wolf pack circling a wounded animal.

I am not sure how I came to hear of Refresh Debt Services; maybe it was through reading about other peoples\' experiences, looking for a way out. The most important thing is that I heard of Refresh, contacted them and followed their initial procedures.

Within about a week Refresh had contacted the lenders, had organised a payment plan with them which was structured to actually fit my changed circumstances, and had slowed the flow of pestering.

For a few weeks after that I simply forwarded on lenders\' letters to refresh, and referred phone calls to refresh, and gradually they stopped. That alone was wonderful!

After a while interest was no longer being added by the lenders, and from the regular statements I received I could see the balances slowly reducing.

I know that Refresh Debt Services are not a charity and I knew that they were adding their own small charge each month, nut my gosh, they are worth EVERY penny! The peace of mind simply making the manageable monthly payment and leaving everything to them, after the hell I was experiencing before, was worth a great, great deal. They were ALWAYS attentive polite, friendly, and supportive. They were NEVER critical or judgemental, unlike the lenders.

Over the last month Refresh Debt Services have arranged an IVA (Individual Voluntary Arrangement) for me which means that I now have a fixed monthly payment for a fixed period of five years, after which I will be debt free, all outstanding amounts fully satisfied. A state I really believed I would never ever see.

At one time my income was less and every month I have to pay around £800 per month which was not possible for me to do so I have spoken to one of my friends and he has told me about Refresh so I called them and explained about my job position how much I am earning what are my spending so they have calculated all and they told me I have to pay £208 per month which was at least near to what I can pay so it was a great relief that they have spoken to all credit card companies and to the people from where I got loan so they have sorted out all for me . They have taken all tension away from me so it was a great help at that difficult time.

Refresh was a breath of fresh air in troubling times their people are friendly and did everything possible to find me a payback scheme I could follow. Since setting up with Refresh I haven’t had to deal with any of the companies I owe money to. They are just a free phone call away when I have any problems and I would and have recommended them to others.

I am very happy with the service Refresh has provided. With their help I have been able to get my finances under control.

Before approaching Refresh we were at our wits end and our outgoings to our creditors were excessive. I have found the staff at Refresh to be competent, professional and the personal touch has been most reassuring.
