A full and final IVA is when you make one lump sum payment to your creditors to pay off your debt in full. The lump sum is usually a gift of money from a third party. You are eligible for a full and final IVA when:
- You have 3 or more lines of credit.
- You have a significant lump sum of funds to offer your creditors.
AND
- Unable to make monthly contributions into an IVA.
- Expecting a sizeable increase in expenditure, removing the ability to make monthly contributions.
- Taking a sizeable income reduction, removing the ability to make monthly contributions.
- Intending to leave the country for the long term.
- Heading into retirement.
If you do have a monthly disposable income you may not be eligible for a full and final IVA and may have to proceed with a 60 month repayment plan. However our experienced debt advisors will be able to assess your individual situation and advise you of the best option to repaying your debts.
